Postdoctoral Researcher (f/m/x)
Your tasks
- You will work in close collaboration with the lab head and other team members on projects related to immune mechanism of kidney diseases
- You will design, conduct and analyze experiments and communicate your results in scientific publications and presentations
- You will organize and troubleshoot your work independently
- You will be involved in writing grants with the goal of your own third-party funding acquisition
- You will be involved in supervising undergraduate, graduate and PhD students
Your profile
- You have a PhD degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology or a related field
- You are a motivated, enthusiastic team player, who can work independently in an international team
- You have excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- You have a strong interest in translational kidney research and immunology
- You have profound knowledge of common techniques in cell biology, molecular biology and immunology such as Western Blot, ELISA, immunohistochemical stainings and especially FACS
- Additional experience with the bioinformatic analyses of omicsapproaches is a plus
- You have proven experience with in vivo (mouse) work including a FELASA B or C certificate
